While only 3% of the general population is trained in BLS, emergencies such as cardiac arrest or choking can happen anywhere, anytime. BLS equips individuals with life-saving skills like CPR, AED use, and relief from airway obstruction, significantly increasing a victim’s chance of survival before emergency responders arrive. In fact, over 70%of cardiac arrests occur outside of hospitals, often in homes, schools, or public places; making it essential for everyday people to be prepared.

Hybrid Course (Blended Learning) — Most Popular at Curatio!
Price: $89
Ideal for busy professionals, this flexible format includes two parts:
- Part 1: Online Learning
Complete at your own pace through the official American Heart Association platform. This segment includes instructional videos, real-life scenarios, and knowledge checks. - Part 2: In-Person Skills Check-Off at Curatio Medical Institute Testing Center (1 hour)
After finishing the online portion, attend a short in-person session with a certified instructor to demonstrate your hands-on BLS skills and earn your provider card. You must email or present your online learning completion certification before the test.

In-Person Classroom Course
Price: $99 (Minimum of 6 students required)
Engage in a traditional classroom setting led by AHA-certified instructors. This full-session format includes:
- Group video instruction and guided discussions
- Practice with CPR manikins and emergency equipment
- Written exam and skills check-off at the end of class
- Immediate certification upon successful completion
